Some Analysis Methods for Behavioral Toxicology Data

Richard R Allen, Peak Statistical Services

Five groups of monkeys were tested on a battery of four behavioral tasks to determine if being exposed to a particular drug had any effect on their learning capabilities. They were tested on two pairs of tasks every other weekday for a period of a year and a half. This talk will concentrate on the longitudinal analysis of the accuracy of response for the Conditioned Position Responding Task (CPR), a color and position discrimination task. The data and results of different but similar analyses of the data ar e discussed. Some of the results are presented in a web report built using the ODS system with drill-down graphics from Version 8 of the SAS System. Generalized linear modeling techniques were used to determine if there were any differences between the gro ups.
