Proc Report and ODS

As the need for electronic submissions grows, the need for an easy way to create FDA-acceptable electronic files grows as well. With the release of version 8, SAS provides a tool, the Output Delivery System (ODS), to convert from traditional SAS output to other file formats. Proc Report and ODS together give a user with little ODS knowledge the ability to create RTF, HTML, or PDF files with ease. This paper will give a brief overview of the report procedure and some ODS style options that can be used wit hin proc report to customize the electronic output.
